a Sustainable Future
Nancy's research interests are developing polymer materials for applications in energy and environmental sustainability, especially in water purification, atmospheric water harvesting, carbon capture, solar energy conversion by leveraging fundamental principles of chemical engineering, polymer chemistry, surface engineering, photo/electrochemistry, materials science, and advanced characterization techniques.
She is a Postdoctoral Associate in Department of Chemical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, working with Prof. T. Alan Hatton. She obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in Prof. Guihua Yu's group and her M.S. & B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of California San Diego.
